With loss of Tommy Boyd and Charlie and death of Mike Dickin, the fun is gone from the station. Collins is not the same on late nights, Whale is a turncoat, Galloway simply sucks, and Mendoza has taken a leftward stance on the issues. The most that I listen to the station now is when the KABC simulcast is on.
I've found better evening talk programming over here with Mark Levin and Chris Plante on WMAL (www.wmal.com) in Washington, DC. Levin is a national host and is good friends with Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity. Plante is a local host, following Levin.
Levin comes off somewhat angry, a la Dickin, but is actually very funny to listen to. I guess I can relate to these guys since they are here in the USA.
