Does anyone still listen to TalkSport? I was down to listening to the 2 hour USA/UK simulcast on the weekends, but it has gotten really unbearable with Fezvi constantly making anti-American. It seems really unprofessional on an international simulcast. Al Rantel and the folks at KABC go out of their way to be nice while Fezvi has to interject a negative comment. Angry / Fuming

But then again.....it is the new TalkSport, with great hosts like Galloway, Gaunt and that turncoat James Whale. Angry / Fuming

Oh......for the days of Tommy Boyd, Mike Dickin, and Charlie Wolf. Those guys made TalkSport fun to listen to. Sad

I can't believe Charlie has not resurfaced on another station. Rolling Eyes

Give a listen to Mark Levin over here in the USA. He's very Dickinesque in his presentation. And, a really nice guy. Razz

I am not a fan of Mike Mendozas so therefore I did not listen to his show or his homophobic rantings but I have just clicked on the link provided by Jana and read Mikes comments.
Putting aside my own sexuality for a moment, I am disgusted that the bosses of talksport feel that a weeks suspension is enough justification for this kind of out burst.
I am also disgusted that a seasoned broadcaster like Mike Mendoza can not differentiate between a person who is homosexual and a pedophile and what worries me more is that listeners with little or no intelligence will take Mikes comments to the extreme and may act upon them.
As a gay person I understand fully that homosexuality still disgusts people even in the 21st centenary and to a certain degree I can understand their feelings although I certainly do not agree with any acts of violence.
What I will not accept or attempt to justify now or at any other time is Mike Mendozas comments in which he likens a homosexual to a pedophile.
In closing may I point out that the majority of child abusers and murderers are normally heterosexual males of white origin, but then again your opinion may be different from mine.
