The "approx" you use is the key. I'm sure ideally the news would be removed alltogether, but all the archives are done automatically, so the problem is knowing exactly when to start.
Yeah, if the news is always AT LEAST 5 minutes long, you could start (say) at 5 past the hour, but I'm assuming that without having a decent edit point, clarkey just chooses the "constant" of starting on the hour.

Fair point, Ajman.
But like Jamie says, these recordings are automated, and starting them on the hour is more logical than hoping to guess when Charlie re-starts after the news. talkSPORT are generally more reliable with the their timings thsn redfm, but keeping the consistency of a regular start time hopefully means that you know what to expect.
Moving the position on by 4 minutes for each hour is generally about right. Glad to hear you're finding it useful.
As for the "updated" bit on the audio buttons, I'll correct that today/tomorrow.. |
