Rumours abound in media land that Charlie Wolf has been approached to move from Redfm to Today fM (national independnt radio station in the Republic of Ireland) Their long running phonein talkshow host Eamon Dunphy is leaving his weekday 5-7pm slot shortly after 5 years at the helm. Apparently Charlie was seen last weeke in the vicinity of Today FM studios in dublin. Watch this space!

but i thought he was more involved with Red FM than just being employed.. Didn't he help set it up with a friend ?

I don't think he helped set it up. He was just approached by a friend (Henry Condon - worked with Charlie in atlantic 252)
One wonders if he'll stick around for long - he seems to have itchy feet.
