In a way that was a good thing about Charlie. His politics are up his arse and yet he forced them on people, he got you angry, even though his politics were insane, he could destroy people in an interview, people who, unlike him were actually talking sense. I never dared to call in cos I knew that even though most people would have been slightly closer to my views than his, he would twist my words. Texts were a safer bet. I actually didn't get to watch Cork talks back much because I couldn't get it during college term in Limerick. However Vic is doing a good job, he has all the humour Charlie had, without the right-wing rants. I know if I was ever host of Cork Talks back, I'd try to give Charlie a slot where he'd talk his usual right-wing shite and I'd try ribbing him the way he'd rib others. Got to hand it to the man, he is a good journo, right wing wacko or no. I think there is a big shock factor with Charlie. He wants to rile people up.

yeah i agree with u. i'm not in to all this polotical garbage dat charlie speaks about all da time it gets way over da top for me all da time Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes and when he starts his verbal attacks i just cringe cause he didnt give da ppl da chance to speak: Sad

i agree with what u said about vic (just to be reminded i am da man's biggest and loyal fan) he is funny a lot funnier dan charlie with out all da right wing or left wing garbage. there is a bigger shock factor with vic, vic is not afraid to say his piece on da radio which is what i love and adore about vic as well. keeps up da good work vic Wink

I think everyone already knows my views on this topic! I think victor barry would be much better suited to the morning show and charlie at night because i think the political stuff is better suited to the night. Although i have said bad things about victor in the past he is my second favourite out all of the redfm presenters. That guy who used to be on the morning show instead of charlie was an asshole and he has a terrible choice of music all he playes is pop Eek !
