Doesn't that just expose your own prejudice against Muslism?

Do you have any factual support for your accusation? I mean, it's a big one to make. I hope you have something to back it up other than base Islamophobia.

I am an atheist so I have prejudices against most relegions, not one in particular.
I am in no dobut that many Muslims voted for Galloway because they are opposed to the war on Iraq and as someone who disagrees with the war as well I fully support their decisions.
However, it has been reported that the reasons I mentioned (Galloway being a man and King being Jewish) were reasons that some (and not all) Muslims voted for Galloway's Respect party.
To me someone voting for or against someone based on their sex or relegion has nothing to with democracy and more to do with bigotory.
As for being "Islamaphobic", that's a phrase most apologists for the extremist side of the relegion use in order to silence their critics. They can't come up with an argument to defend extremism so they just shout "Islamphobe!".
An example of this was when that Islamic cleric came to London a while back and started spouting off about killing gays. His aplogists had no argument to defend him or his views so they just branded everyone who criticised him as "Islamaphobic".
It's a lazy argument and smacks of relegious censorship.

Absolute utter garbage. It was a democratic vote against US/UK imperialism and Zionist oppression.

BTW, there are many Jews who support Galloway and oppose Israel.

Like I said before some Muslims voted Galloway based on the fact he is a man and Oona King is Jewish.

But I am sure there were more Muslims voting because of the Iraq war etc.

Galloway's supporters are overwhelming progressive and tolerant. Indeed, the Islamist zealots regard him as a "false prophet".
