Hmmm, So Cable/ADSL in the UK will give you a whopping great 50K per second (ish), approx 10 times faster than a modem..

I'm currently downloading some mp3's to my machine, and its averaging 560K per second.... i.e. over 11 times faster than UK cable/adsl and over 110 times faster than a modem.... Broadband in the UK is a ripoff!
